Caroline Gozzi

Caroline stumbled across Bikram Yoga while living in Melbourne, Australia. After one class she knew that this was something very special and would become part of her everyday life. In 2005 she completed the Bikram Yoga Teacher training course in Los Angeles and later her Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training with Laughing Lotus in New York.
Caroline believes Yoga should be for everyone, regardless of age, ability or level of fitness. Her classes are open to everyone, challenging but fun at the same time.

Caroline teaches Hot 26, Hot Power Yoga, Hot HIIT Yoga, Lotus Flow and Vinyasa Yoga.
Caroline is a senior teacher registered with Yoga Alliance UK.

Caroline is the co founder of YogaVenue and the Spiralling Crow Vinyasa Teacher Training Course.

Heidi Muschallik

Heidi started practising Bikram Yoga in 2000. From her first class she was hooked: “I’d always been quite active growing up and just loved the intensity of the class and how energised and invigorated I felt afterwards”.

So… what started off as a hobby, became her full-time work in 2003 after completing her training in Los Angeles. “What I absolutely love about teaching is seeing how Yoga benefits those who dedicate their time and energy to it – helping them to improve their mental, physical and emotional health, and also, how Yoga can be available to ANYONE, whatever your ability. Just do your best!”

Kee Chan

Having suffered from sciatic pain in his left for a few years and following regular visits to a chiropractor and massage therapist, Kee decided to give Bikram Yoga a try and has never looked back. After a few classes his sciatic pain had improved, after a few weeks there was more muscle tone and flexibility, and after a few months there was more mental focus which helped deal with challenging situations outside of the hot room.

In February 2012, Kee attended a Bikram Yoga retreat in India which helped his focus and understanding of Yoga. It was during this time he started thinking of the possibility of becoming a  teacher, with the knowledge that he could pass on the physical and mental healing benefits of BY to others.

After 12 years of working behind a desk on IT Projects, Kee decided it was time for a change and enrolled on Teacher Training in Los Angeles, Autumn 2012. He went on to complete his Spiralling Crow Vinyasa Yoga and Hot Power Teacher Training with Alessandro and Caroline at YogaVenue.

Luka Baggio

Luka found Bikram yoga in her second year of studying drama at the Central School of Speech and Drama as a way to deal with the stresses of daily drama school life.

After her first class she realised she was pursuing the wrong career. She managed to incorporate daily Bikram practice into her busy school schedule while maintaining a pub job on the side. Bikram was the only thing that kept her going, so in Spring 2013, soon after graduating, she went to teacher training. Luka has since gone to to complete her Vinyasa Yoga and Hot Power Yoga with Spiralling Crow at YogaVenue in 2015.

Luka loves the calming effect that Bikram Yoga can bring. “I used to have a constant mind chatter that I’d just grown to accept, but after a year of regular practice the mind chatter stopped. I could breathe and enjoy life in the present moment. It has absolutely transformed my life.”

Caz Pittard

Caz discovered Bikram Yoga in 2009, 4 months after having major surgery on her lower spine. She was hooked and couldn’t wait to get back into the hot room! In fact, as soon as she got home after her first class she began researching how to become a teacher.
One year after her surgery, Caz completed an ascent of Kilimanjaro, having used Bikram Yoga as part of her training. The climb was an amazing achievement and her Yoga practice was a major part of making that dream happen. As a qualified Osteopath, Bikram Yoga is one form of exercise Caz highly recommends as it aids re-alignment not just of the spine but of the whole body.
In 2013, Caz was ready to embark on another challenge and headed to LA for nine weeks of Bikram training. She returned in July 2013 and hit the ground running with a teaching job.

Kristin Bergman

Kristin has been teaching Bikram Yoga since 2007 and is the two-time UK Yoga Asana Champion (2009, 2011). She carries with her a wealth of knowledge about the series, posture mechanics, and working with the spine.

Kristin is a guest teacher at YogaVenue and returns monthly to teach Hot 26 Yoga conditioning, Hot 26 intermediate and Hot 26. Please check the schedule for her classes. 
Our Hot 26 Yoga class is a series of static Hatha Yoga asanas (postures) and breathing exercises developed by Bikram Choudhury. This set sequence of 26 asanas and 2 breathing exercises are performed in each class. Each posture stretches, strengthens and prepares the body for the next to maximise oxygenation and detoxification; all together they work every part of the body. The beauty of practising the same movements in every class means you are able to see how your body is changing over time. You never get bored and you always learn something new in every class! Hot Yoga is practised in a room heated to around 40°C. The heat warms up the body allowing you to stretch into the asanas safely while at the same time aiding detoxification and increasing the cardiovascular element of the class. This class includes static asanas, which means you do not flow from one to the next (no vinyasas or downward facing dogs).

There are numerous benefits from a regular Hot Yoga practice, including weight loss, improved muscle tone, strength and flexibility, reduced back/knee pain, better concentration and focus and lower stress levels. The class is suitable for all levels from complete beginners to advanced students. Be prepared to sweat and have fun!

Hot 26 classes are 90 minutes long. All ability levels welcome. Classes are held in a heated room (temperature 40 – 41.5 °C). These classes are without music.
