The dynamics of teaching Yoga in a heated environment
Our Hot Yoga class have been specifically designed for the hot environment to ensure that students get the most our of their practice and are healthy and safe. In this section we will cover the considerations of the hot room; including selecting the optimal heat level, health and safety issues in the hot environment, the dos and the don'ts for the hot room.
How to sequence a Hot Yoga class
Some assume that you can teach any type of Yoga in a heated environment that is taught in a non heated environment; our experience shows this is not the case. We will show you how to design a class that is specific to a heated environment, includes consideration of breath and asana. We will not cover asana in detail as it is assumed you already have an understanding of asana as covered in your yoga teaching qualification.
Learn our Hot Power Yoga class
As well as teaching you how to sequence your own class, we will provide you with a ready made Hot Power Yoga class sequence, as taught at YogaVenue. This will include how to teach the class and why we teach it the way we do.
