Our Hot Power Yoga class combines flowing Vinyasa sequences with static strength building postures. If you like to flow in our Vinyasa classes but also enjoy the static nature of the Hot 26 this is the perfect class for you!
Our Hot Power classes are designed to create balance. The blend of movement and stillness aims to build strength and flexibility with an emphasis on upper body and core strength. Flowing sequences promote grace and stability while longer holds develop strength. The external heat enhances the cardiovascular workout of the class and aids in accessing deeper expressions of the postures. All our Hot Power classes are chaturanga free to allow you to work on your alignment and focus on the integrity of flowing from one pose to the other safely.
Unlike our Hot 26 classes, the Hot Power class sequences change every few months. Every class is unique as each teacher brings their own flavour and style to the sequence. The changes in the sequences reflect the changes in the seasons and the corresponding changes in our bodies’ needs. Expect gentle warm-ups, planks, sun salutations, warriors, hip openers, and the option to include gentle arm balances.
This class is suitable for all levels of ability. It is great to try if you are used to a Hot 26 practice and want to experiment with different styles in the heat. It's also perfect if you're used to more flowing Vinyasa classes and want to try something with a little heat.
YogaVenue Hot Power Flow classes are 75 minutes long. All ability levels welcome. The room is heated to around 37 degrees using an infrared heating system. Classes are taught with music
