The fitness craze taking the world by storm, reformer pilates aims to tone, tighten and transform.
Reform Pilates is a whole-body workout. It's designed to improve strength and boost flexibility, balance, posture and coordination. The reformer is a bed-like machine that moves back and forward and features functionalities (i.e. springs) to increase resistance as you work out.
We offer different types of reformer pilates classes:
Reformer Slow Burn: This is all about connecting back to your body, using resistance, control, and technique. We will slow down the movements and keep coming back to our breath. Slow and mindful is the tag line for this class!
This class is suitable for all levels, including beginners.
Dynamic Reformer Pilates: This is a high intensity, low impact, core, muscular strength, and endurance, fitness-based class. This full body-blast workout uses continuous and constant tension, targeted at burning energy for a long period of time. Suitable if you are new to reformer pilates, but we do recommend you attend some of our foundational reformer classes.
Reformer Strength & Conditioning: Our Reformer pilates strength & conditioning class is a brand new class where we will focus on static and dynamic exercises incorporating the reformer and hand weights. This class is suitable for all levels, having attended our Foundational Reformer classes would be beneficial.
Align & Reform Reformer Pilates: The perfect class if you are looking to work at a slightly slower pace working on posture and core specifically the posterior chain of muscles, pelvic floor and abdominals. As this class focusses on alignment it is a great class for beginners as well as for regulars.
