Corporate Yoga - bringing Yoga into the workplace

The benefits of Yoga in the workplace are increasingly being recognised and many companies now offer Yoga for employees, during lunch times or after work. It is great to see Yoga becoming so much more accessible and the benefits being recognised. Yoga at work can help with managing back pain (all those hours at the desk hunched over a computer), reduce sick days (because we don’t need to have days off for back pain!) and it can help with managing and reducing burnout and stress, plus it can make everyone nicer! When we get stressed, we can get more aggressive and hostile. Taking some time to step out and focus on breath and move a little can really help with making us calmer. Also, we shouldn’t forget that time away from our desks can actually make us more productive and focused. We come back to work energised and relaxed at the same time.

 

YogaVenue bring Yoga to the workplace and the workplace can come to YogaVenue! It is great if you have the space at your office to roll out mats in the middle of the day but sometimes finishing off the day and getting to a studio can be great. Closing off the workday and changing the scene.
