Been sitting all day? Notice an undercurrent of anxiety? Tight hips & hamstrings? Can't sit still?
This class slows things down so we notice where the tension and stress are. We will begin class with a slow flow which allows the day's busyness to subside and head towards holding poses for longer than usual. It is designed to allow you to enter a deep state of relaxation & release. By holding these healing & prop-supported poses for longer will help open the thicker layers of connective tissues around the joints, unraveling areas of tension. Observe your feelings without identifying with them as you move into stillness, peace & attentiveness. The perfect way to end your day. Suitable for all levels.
Yin Yoga classes are 60 minutes long. Classes are held at room temperature via Zoom. Music is played in these classes - for our virtual classes, a playlist will be made available.
